This is not your average factory tour! Get inspired and come to truly understand with a firsthand look at our processes and methods of designing and building award-winning lighting solutions. Meet and engage with the people behind our innovative luminaires. Likely the most enjoyable way to earn the 5.25 AIBC CORE learning units you'll get.
A full day session at Fluxwerx headquarters and manufacturing facility provides a comprehensive review of LED light fixtures design and construction processes, new optics options plus its important role in lighting design and how to build green with LED luminaires. Tour topics include a review of luminaire product design methods, Anidolic-Extraction Optics™, and new solid state lighting technologies, focusing on energy efficiency and sustainable design values. Lean manufacturing and its important role in flexible lighting manufacturing is also covered in detail.
